✏️ Corrected Version
Today is the second day of my break.
Yesterday was a national holiday, and tomorrow is Sunday, so I got three days off. Lately, I’ve been thinking deeply about going to the USA. Questions like “How can I make money?” and “Can I manage this bankruptcy?” — these things are driving me crazy.
But I keep telling myself to think positively and fake it till I make it. Yesterday, my oldest daughter asked, “How about leaving home and driving to see the sea?” I had the same thought, so I told her, “That’s a great idea.” We changed into comfortable clothes and headed to Goan Port (고온항).
There were some places I thought would be educational for my daughters. But as the saying goes, “Even Mount Geumgang looks better on a full stomach,” so first, we drove to a restaurant that had great reviews. The food was delicious. My family was happy with the meal.
Then we went to the Maehyang-ri Peace Memorial. This area was once used by the U.S. Army for missile testing, and it ended in 2005. We saw how the soldiers lived and enjoyed their lives back then. There were dancing rooms, gyms, a theater, and more.
After that, we returned to Goan Port to watch the sunset. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see it because of the clouds. On the way home, we stopped for ice cream. 🍦
